Al-Mustafa Islamic College Signs MoU with Islamic Azad University, Tehran-Iran.

Al-Mustafa Islamic College (AIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Islamic Azad university located in Tehran, the Capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran to facilitate and strengthen collaboration, encourage knowledge exchange and promote research, training and dissemination of information in the fields of Agriculture and petroleum.

Al-Mustafa Islamic College will promote and foster collaboration on research and capacity building in higher education by conducting and facilitating learning in the two mentioned areas at a Masters level with Affiliation to Islamic Azad University. The latter is the World’s 6th largest University by enrollment and one of the largest comprehensive systems of universities, colleges, and community colleges in the world with 2 independent and 31 state university branches across Iran, and four branches in other Countries including U.A.E and the United Kingdom

 AIC and IAU will promote and foster collaboration on research and capacity building in higher education in Uganda and Africa by undertaking the following activities:

  1. Cooperation in Increasing faculties at AIC and establishing IAU fields of Study at AIC, Uganda.
  2. Admitting well-qualified Students in the fields of Petroleum and Agriculture from Uganda and the rest of Africa.
  3. Optimal Utilization of existing facilities to achieve common goals
  4. Training Faculty Members

Dr. Rouhallah Dehghani, Principal of AIC, and Mr.  Hossain Sheikholislam, from the IAU Office of the Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs and Non-Iranian Students signed the MoU on behalf of AIC and IAU, respectively in Tehran on 08.01.2020
